Hi there!
My name is Jori Dale, a driven graduate from the University of North Texas and Texas A&M University. Hailing from Houston and raised in Dallas, I am a first-generation college student with diverse interests, having earned a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Texas A&M and a Master's degree in Information Science, along with continuing my education at Prairie View A&M University in Computer Science.
Currently, I concentrate on collection and data management and development in both technical and end-user accessibility. I aspire to use my expertise and certifications to join the Information Technology field as a data analyst with an ambition to grow into development as well. While being a Reference and Instruction Librarian at Prairie View A&M University, I have polished my experience in research and instruction. I have previous experience in curriculum design and implementation as a Mathematics and Science teacher at a local middle school in Texas as well.
I am committed to continuously learning and practicing various technical and non-technical languages to enhance my skills and knowledge of data management and content analysis. I will continue to combine my passions of teaching and technology by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) pedagogy into instructional tools.
As an information professional, my portfolio showcases my skills and perspective on the information science field. The portfolio serves as a guide to my journey and development as a student in the master's program, highlighting my understanding of my role as an information professional.
